Born in the Bronx and raised in Elmont, New York, Sonya's educational journey began at Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn, where she earned a double bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing. During her time as a student, Sonya's relentless drive and passion for fashion led her to establish IAM.ECCENTRIC from her dorm room, setting the stage for her future success. She further honed her skills by obtaining a master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management from LIM College, equipping her with the expertise to take her brand to new heights.
