Shakir Goodrich born in Newark, New Jersey, was raised to know the importance of a great work ethic and being grateful. Thankful and grateful is actually what the name Shakir means. A lot of his values and perspective of life comes from his background in sports. He played football and ran track from elementary school all the way until college. While attending Morgan State University and Towson University he realized the similarities between sports and business. This led him to understand his natural talent in business and that is when he began his journey eventually establishing Campus Remix in 2016. A brand that has the mission to elevate HBCU merchandise. To this day he is actively contributing in elevating the industry and being grateful for everyone that has supported him along the way including his family and his sister Shariah Goodrich who is also the co-owner of the Campus Remix brand.
