LES GREEN
Les Green is a culturally fluent and entrepreneurial marketing leader that has spent over twenty years building some of the most successful and relevant brands. Most recently he served as the CEO of SLAM Media Inc and prior to that he was a successful marketing executive at Nike for over a decade. Some of his biggest accomplishments at Nike were launching the game changing Nike Tech Pack apparel line, the rebrand and launch of Nike By You, and the creation of Air MAx Day. Prior to his time with Nike he was a strategic planner at Wieden + Kennedy helping to develop large-scale brand campaigns for various brands including Nike.
Les holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a proud alumni of Clark Atlanta University. Innovation and Creativity have been at the forefront of Les’s approach, along with a relentless commitment to staying connected to youth and sport culture. His experience leading organizations and teams has spanned three countries and nearly 15 years giving him a very diverse perspective on brands and consumers. Les has embraced both the art and science of marketing and continues to attack complex problems with simple strategic solutions.
