Channing Beumer is a connector, storyteller, and lover of sneakers born in The Bay and raised in Minneapolis, MN. Leaning into her love for both sneaker culture and the women who built it, she founded CNKDaily.com, a platform to serve women in sneakers and streetwear, in 2017. With CNK, she leads a talented team of writers and editors dedicated to bringing real representation, especially for Black and Brown women, to a media and content creation landscape that has traditionally marginalized those who helped create it.

As of 2021, Channing and her amazing team founded the non-profit arm of CNK, Chickspiration Community Foundation. The foundation specializes in building a mentoring program, dubbed PowHER Forward, for girls ages 12 – 18. PowHER Forward matches young ladies with a female mentor in our CNK network, facilitates monthly workshops, and curates collective experiences designed to provide a safe growing space for young women in underserved communities.

After six years of running a successful media company and recognizing the disparity for women within sneakers and streetwear In 2023, Channing and her team set their eyes on the retail side of the sneaker industry with the announcement of their first retail location, Shop CNK, set to open in 2025. Shop CNK will be the first Black-woman-owned women's sneaker store in the United States.

Channing currently serves as CEO of CNK Daily and Shop CNK and resides in Dallas, Texas.
